Yahoo Gets Cellular App Designed by Former Employees

Yahoo Inc obtained a small cellular start-up company that was established by former workers of the having difficulties Web website two years ago.

Yahoo did not reveal the price of its cope to obtain Jybe, which designed a cellular app that suggests films, guides and dining places depending on information included in public networking sites.

Yahoo said it would closed down the Jybe assistance, while five Jybe technicians and information researchers, all ex-Yahoo staffers, would concentrate on Yahoo's initiatives to enhance its item line-up.
